  • Abstract
  • In world linguistics and translation studies, special attention is paid to the structural-semantic and functional study of parems. Research in this area has become a priority in studying the problems encountered in the process of comparative study of ...
  • The pragmatic information generated from the semantics of parems according to communicative intention occurs in a certain communicative situation in the speech process or discourse, and thus serves to express any linguistic and extra linguistic, hist...
  • In this process, the writer or speaker manifests the pragmatic meaning, i.e., the subjective evaluator of the respondent.
  • The evaluation of the subject's object of communication is reflected in positive, negative or neutral attitudes towards being, people, things and events, in linguistic units that represent the characteristics of national, cultural, ethnic, social pos...
  • In pragmatic information, expressed in the semantics of paremias, rhetorical purpose and attitude, connotative imagery, national-cultural peculiarities are expressed more strongly than in other linguistic units. In understanding the meaning of pragmat...
  • 1) what is the main purpose (functions) of the application of paremia;
  • 2) what verbal actions are performed in the application of paremia and what is their logical sequence;
  • 3) what pragmatic relations between active communicators are observed through the performed verbal actions (subject-object relations);
  • 4) the pragmatic potential of the discourse in which paremia is applied (its mental, spiritual or emotional impact on the reader, the listener);
  • 5) the communicative intention or intention of the writer or speaker in this discourse who decides to apply the paremia.
  • In the thinking of the recipient of the information received in the act of communication begins the process of understanding the true meaning of the analyzed paremia, and the listener (reader) has a verbal pragmatic attitude to the information.
  • Not all speakers of the same language have the same attitude to the same paremia. The reasons for this are:
  • 1) the level of mental development of all speakers (readers) is not the same;
  • 2) the level of proficiency in the language, even the mother tongue, of all speakers (readers) is not the same;
  • 3) the level of economic security of all speakers (readers) is not the same;
  • 4) the level of culture of all speakers (readers) is not the same;
  • 5) the living areas and dialects of all speakers (readers) are not the same;
  • 6) The age and gender of all speakers (readers) are not the same.
  • These and other factors lead to different amounts and meanings of information occurring in the paremia used by the listener or reader in the speech act.
  • The implicitness of the information in a paremia spoken or written by a person, or the information expressed in the explicit, is in many respects related to the conscious or unconscious perception of the information by the listener. The intention of t...
  • Man uses ready-made language, it has been created by people, people for centuries, and it is a social phenomenon. A person taken separately cannot create a language. A person does not need language because it is a means of communication and there must...
  • Language, on the other hand, is a mechanism for coding and translating culture. Man only uses this mechanism. Someone makes better use of this mechanism, someone uses it more sparingly, just like the skill of skilled and unscrupulous drivers in drivin...
  • To summarize what have been mentioned above, human ethnic consciousness and culture serve as regulators of human behavior. They are both congenital and can be mastered. The latter is usually assimilated during the socialization of the individual. This...
